“Trees En Plein Air“ for students in grades 9-12. Tuesdays, June 5, 12, 19, 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
En plein air, or plein air painting, is a phrase borrowed from the French equivalent meaning "open (in full) air". It is
particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors, where a painter reproduces the actual visual conditions seen at the time of the painting. Some of the greatest artists painted from life outside. Weather permitting, teens will paint trees outside in this class. Students will also learn the basics of painting with acrylic paint. Classes on rainy days will have instruction inside. Instructor: Lin Luciano Fiore
