Women’s Suffrage Movement

2020 marks the 100th Anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment. Celebrate the milestone with us and Massillon Museum Archivist Mandy Altimus Stahl as she shares the stories of the movers and the shakers in our area, like Victoria Claflin Woodhull, the first woman to run for president, and Caroline McCullough Everhard, who helped women get elected to the board of education and vote in municipal elections even before full suffrage.

Registration begins Monday, April 6 at 10 a.m., but is not required. Walk-ins welcome.
